As the Vice-President Academic

Blane Harvey is responsible for academic programs in the College's four-county service area.

During his time with Fleming, Blane has provided leadership to the college's campus sustainability initiatives along with the college's applied research endeavours in alternative wastewater treatment technologies.

 Holding advanced degrees in Adult & Continuing Education; and in Human Resources Management, Blane has extensive experience acquired across the Ontario college system.  As an educator and facilitator, Blane has worked with a variety of professional organizations, delivering a wide range of education and training to a variety of educational and professional client groups.  As an Assistant Professor and Director of Programs in the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Calgary, Blane received national recognition for program excellence through the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education.
