Trish Dryden is Associate Vice-President Research and Corporate Planning at Centennial College, reporting directly to the President. She is the senior leader responsible for corporate planning and institutional research at Centennial, as well as for applied research and innovation: strategic direction, industry partnerships, contract negotiation, research administration, knowledge exchange, intellectual property management and technology transfer, government, industry, and community relations, applied-research capacity building, policy development and advocacy within the institution and across public and private sectors, with over 30 years experience in higher education. As one of the founding and ongoing members of Colleges Ontario Network for Industry Innovation (CONII), and serving as Chair of Heads of Applied Research in Ontario since 2009, Trish is a trail blazer and a catalyst for change. Her vision and leadership continues to be instrumental to the development of an innovative and entrepreneurial culture in the college system. Her published research focuses on social innovation in integrative health care and research literacy. Trish’s sees her work is an extension of her fundamental commitment to equity, diversity and human rights, and excellence in public policy and education.
